Application for a Danish passport must be made in person at the Embassy in Islamabad. This is true regardless of a candidate's age. Passports are issued by the Danish National Police in Copenhagen and the dispatch time is 3-5 weeks.

Applications can only be delivered to the Embassy by prior appointment. Contact the consular section by e-mail at email@example.com to arrange submission. To apply for a new Danish passport requires a fee.
From 1 January, 2012 new Danish passports must contain digital photos, fingerprints and signatures. As a consequence it will only be possible to apply for a passport in Pakistan by personal appearance at the Danish Embassy in Islamabad. Collection of passports Passports can usually be picked up 3-5 weeks after the application has been submitted. Passports may only be picked up at the Embassy or Consulate General by prior appointment.
When collecting the new passport the applicant must carry the old passport for cancellation. Also receipt for payment of application fee must be presented.
If the passport is not collected by the candidate himself, the courier should present a mandate from the applicant. The passport of a person under 18 years may be handed to his/her parents or guardians without a written mandate.
