Appeal

You can lodge an appeal against the decision with the Danish Immigration Service within eight (8) weeks from the date of notification of the decision. The Danish Immigration Service may decide in particular cases that an appeal must be considered even though the appeal was submitted after the expiry of that period, cf. section 30, subsections 2 and 3 of the Danish Visa Executive Order. No fee is charged for processing an appeal.

If it is not possible for you to use the contact form you can send your appeal by letter to the Danish Immigration Service, Ryesgade 53, DK-2100 Copenhagen Ø.

In the appeal, please state the application number of the case, your full name and nationality, as well as the date of the decision made by the Danish Embassy or Consulate.

We can inform you that the maximum case processing time in appeal cases is 12 months.
